Endemic to Western Australia, the Dhufish, affectionately known as a Dhuey, is a majestic large fish that can live a long life of up to 40 years if not cut short by a fisherman... yes, he is verrry tasty to eat unfortunately for him! Males are often bigger than females and can grow to over a metre in length. The Dhuey is elusive for some fisherman but is commonly found off the coast of Gero... the affectionate nick name for Geraldton, W.A.
